About Prospect Feed Limited
The local poultry farmer struggles to compete on the market due to the problem of high feed costs which is 80% of their production cost. Through our uniquely developed waste formulation, in a week, ProSect Feed produces a high quality, low-cost protein feed for poultry farmers that provides them with quality assurance, affordability and consistency. Significantly decreasing their feed cost by 30%. With our out-grower program, Waste from poultry farmers that would have ended up on landfills or burnt, increasing carbon footprint, is purchased; providing them with an additional source of income for their families and ridding them, society and the environment of a nuisance.
Leveraging on ties with the Kosmos Innovation Center and Research Institutions, we provide capacity-building sessions during our outgrower program on agribusiness, traditional and digital marketing, financial management, access to finance and animal nutrition and feed formulation for farmers, agripreneurs and interested youth. This ensures a holistic training is provided, not only limited to waste management.
