Sokoine University Graduate Entrepreneurs Cooperative (SUGECO) is for the youth by the youth service cooperative working to promote, facilitate and establish agribusiness projects for youth and women self-employment.

Market Opportunity/ Problem

SUGECO has an existing off-taker who needs a sustainable supply of mango (34k MT) and beans (15k MT) annually. However, current smallholder farmers cannot meet the demand because of the business model set up. Therefore, the company is supporting them in various ways to build their capacity to meet this demand.
