Description

Mujaasi Investments Limited (MIL) is involved in value addition of grain and cereal harvests. It does this by mobilizing local smallholder farmers into solid producer organizations to consolidate upstream supply chain

Market Opportunity/ Problem

While grain and cereal trade is a lucrative business, the lack of proper storage and processing facilities has crippled the sector especially given increased bans of imports from Uganda. Mujaasi Investments Ltd (MIL) has established rice, maize, sorghum and soya bean storage and processing facilities at Mutukula, Uganda to address this issue
