Market Opportunity/ Problem

The milk shortage in Kenya has resulted in increased demand; the cooperative therefore seeks to bridge this gap by increasing its membership base, which will results in increased milk production increasing the incomes of a larger number of Smallholder farmers. The co-operative cites lack of financing as a major hinderance for growth, especially for value addition and production of quality and affordable animal feeds for its farmers.
