Empire Agricultural Coffee Services Ltd (EACS) is a registered production, marketing, and export company in Uganda, currently involved in collecting, processing, and exporting agricultural produce, mainly coffee. It is an organic certified company (under NOP) by CERES and receives produce from only registered member cooperatives and groups.
Market Opportunity/ Problem
There is a growing demand for quality roasted coffees in Uganda and other regions such as across East Africa, South Africa, and Germany, where Empire has established customers. Uganda has a few premium coffee roasters that target European countries, leaving emerging coffee markets in Africa and other regions unattended. Empire’s focus is to supply these emerging new markets with quality and affordable coffee beans.
