A secondary target group involves organized communities who are focused and looking to uplift themselves in a sustainable manner through asset building.
Market Opportunity/ Problem
According to a Mango survey of market managers (Organic Produce, Price Premiums, and Eco-Labelling in Lower Eastern, Coastal region and Upper Eastern of Kenya Farmers’ Markets, April 2018), demand for organic products is strong or moderate in most of the farmers’ markets surveyed around the country, and managers feel that more organic farmers are needed to meet consumer demand.
