Market Opportunity/ Problem
Rwanda is the only African country that has signed a protocol for the export and quarantine inspection of dried chilies with China. China’s market demand is immense, according to the department of agriculture and rural affairs of China the import volume was 65,43M metric tons in 2020. It is up 45,55% year on year. It gives farmers a sustainable and reliable market for chillies.
