Market Opportunity/ Problem
Almost 50% of the Tanzanian population depends on smallholder farmers for livestock and income. Yet, the farmers have for decades, been struggling with low income due to the high cost of animal feeds, which most farmers cannot afford. The increasing cost of animal feeds has been due to high costs of feed ingredients, i.e.: soybeans and food grade grains.
