Description
Sahel Capital pioneered the first food and agriculture sector focused private equity fund for Nigeria and is an active thought leader in the Nigerian agricultural space. The firm raised a debut US$65.9 million fund in 2014, the Fund for Agricultural Finance in Nigeria (“FAFIN”), to catalyze the food and agriculture sector in Nigeria. They have been entrusted to manage capital on behalf of leading DFIs and governments including AfDB, CDC Group, KfW, and Nigerian Sovereign Investment Authority.
