Catalyst Fund 1 is a USD125 million Eastern Africa focused private equity fund that invests in emerging and mid-sized companies with strong growth and profitability prospects, in alignment with experienced management teams. In 2016, Catalyst launched a successor fund, Catalyst Fund II with USD 155 million of funds under management, building on its Fund I strategy with enhanced value-add capacity.
